Hello there,

my name is Matt and I created Whiskyside way back in 2019, in the form of an Instagram page.

Since then, my whisky knowledge has gone from strength to strength and I've found my primary passion and focus in the English whisky world.

My family runs a holiday park on the North Yorkshire coast, near Filey. We converted the swimming pool into a dedicated English whisky bar which is believed to be the first of its kind. We also display what's known to be the largest display of English whisky in the world.

The bar was set up to champion the English drinks industry and I want this online store to mirror that mission.
